HP Pro Slate 8 astounds with beautiful metal design (pictures)

The HP Pro Slate 8 is a full HD Android tablet with hardware-enabled security, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series processor and an included HP Duet Pen.

It comes in 16GB and 32GB versions, with 2GB 800 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM.

The smooth metal casing is sturdy, but light, coming in at under a pound (0.77 lb, 350 g).

The front-facing stereo speakers are positioned at the top and bottom of the screen, featuring DTS Sound+. There is also a standard 3.5 mm headphone and microphone combo jack along with 2 integrated audio microphones.

The HP Pro Slate 8 leaves room to expand with one microSD slot, one nano SIM, and a ZIF connector with pogo pins. It supports microSD cards up to 32 GB.

It also has one micro USB 2.0 slot.

On the side of the HP Pro Slate 8 you'll find the familiar volume rocker and reset button.

The Pro Slate 8 comes with a 2MP front-facing camera capable of FHD video recording and low light photos.
