HP Envy 2018 portfolio is all about microbezels, metal and privacy

Clamshells, convertibles and a curved 34-inch all-in-one with a woodgrain finish are all part of the company's redesigned premium lineup most of which arrives in May. 

The new Envy laptops and convertibles have microbezels around their displays so that you're pretty much looking at nothing but screen when you open them up.

HP created a drop-jaw USB port to give the laptop a slimmer profile, but keep the full-size port so you won't have to travel with a bunch of dongles. 

If you want a bigger screen, the Envy 13 will also be available in a 17.3-inch version. 

The new x360 13 is the first convertible this size with AMD Ryzen with Radeon Vega discrete graphics. 

Both the x360 13 and x360 15 will have options for side-mounted fingerprint readers and HP's privacy screen feature that obscures the screen from the sides.

The 34-inch curved AIO desktop is the world's widest all-in-one PC with Amazon Alexa built in.

The PC has a woodgrain finish on the back and base. 

A high-speed wireless charger is built into the base.

The camera pushes down for privacy.
