Wide display
There's plenty of room for a cat to hide in the 34-inch display.
Guts in the base
Rather than a display bulging with hardware, HP's envy AIO's put all the guts in the base.
Tap to pause
The touch ring lets you control the volume of the audio, and in some applications you can pause as well as move forward and backward through a playlist with taps and swipes.
Pop up camera
The webcam retracts into the display when not in use.
Right side
A headphone jack, SD card slot and USB port sit conveniently on the right side.
Qi charge
There's a pad on the base for wireless charging of Qi-compatible devices.
Back connections
Four USB 3.0 connections as well as HDMI in and out ports span the back.
Tilt back
You can't raise the display, but you can tilt it back if you're tall.
Why no more connectors?
I wondered why the 34 didn't have more connections than the 27 since the base is bigger. Then I saw that long vent.
Does it blend?
While the keyboard and mouse designs blend well with the desktop design, they're not terrific to use.
Curve
Though it's not really a significant arc, you do notice it while working.
Camera
In order to get my entire head into the view, I had to tilt the display back a little.
