HP adds privacy screen to Spectre x360 13, white Spectre 13

The Spectre x360 13 convertible features the return of the silver model in addition to the copper-and-brown.

One of the most appealing updates to the Spectre x360 13 is the privacy mode, which makes off-angle viewing difficult with a button toggle.

HP shaves a sliver of depth off the x360 13, but maintains the same keyboard travel. 

The x360 13 has the same set of ports and connections as before, but HP has added a fingerprint reader to the right side.

HP has replaced the rounded edge and hinge with more angular ones.

Even the power button's gotten the angular treatment -- it used to be flush with the edge.

The Spectre x360 13's still got one.

There's now a slightly raised band to soften the contact when the lid's flipped all the way around.

Moar bevels!

In addition to the brown-and-copper "ash silver," HP is introducing a new copper-and-white version of the Spectre 13. The lid is actually metal painted with a more scratch-resistant ceramic coating.

The Spectre 13 has a lot of the same cooling updates as the x360 13, including reworked venting that draws cool air from the sides and exhales warm air through these vents in the back.

On the sides, at least. There's still room on top for the cameras.

The Spectre 13 retains its rounded, front-forward hinge design.

And the ports are still in the back.
