Homeboy costs $149 in the US.
It's only for sale in the US right now, but the company has plans to begin shipping internationally in early 2015. There's no international pricing information just yet, but direct conversions would be about £95 or AU$170.
This small, (rechargeable) battery-powered camera doesn't offer live streaming.
But it will record a clip when it detects motion (or any time you manually hit "record now" in the app).
And you can view any saved clips in the Homeboy app.
It's also tied into your phone's GPS location.
That means that it can automatically switch to arm mode when you leave, and back to disarm mode when you return home.
You can opt in or out of push and email alerts when your camera detects motion and when its battery is low (recharge it using the included USB cord).
It also has its own IFTTT channel so you can incorporate Belkin WeMo products, Philips Hue LEDs and more into your Homeboy ecosystem.
