The Nokia Lumia 830 is a reasonably priced phone with a 5-inch display, metal-edged body, a 10-megapixel PureView camera and the latest Windows Phone 8.1 software.

It's due to go on sale later this year across Europe for around €300, which converts to £240, $400 or AU$425. Nokia hasn't yet released final prices or stated exactly where the phone will be going on sale.

Physically, the phone looks very reminiscent of the more expensive Lumia 930, known in the US as the Lumia Icon.

The 10-megapixel camera bears the PureView name, thanks to its optical image stabilisation and skill in low-light situations. Nokia says it's the cheapest PureView phone to date.

The Lumia Camera 5.0 update brings various new camera features, such as an HDR mode. You can alter the strength of the HDR effect after you've taken the shot to get just the right balance.
