The Sony PlayStation Vita PCH-2000 is a new version of the company's handheld console, announced in Japan last month. It will go on sale in Japan for 18,980 yen (US $190) in October, and in parts of Asia in November. No US release date has been given so far.

The Sony PlayStation Vita 2000 will come in six colors -- yellow, red, black, white, blue and olive green.

Sony demonstrated the Remote Play feature at the Tokyo Game Show. Here, the player is using the Vita 2000 to control his character in the new PS4 game Knack -- which is shown on both the TV and PS Vita's LCD.
While it is happening in the same room in this scenario, this feature should allow you to play PS4 games even if your PS4 console is in a different location, as long as you have an active Internet connection on your PS Vita 2000.

Another special edition is the PlayStation Vita God Eater 2 Fenrir Edition.
