Hello, Sprint ID
The Samsung Transform is a new midrange Android phone for Sprint running version 2.2 of the operating system. Sprint says it should be eligible for an update to version 2.2. It's one of three new Sprint phones to have Sprint ID, a new interface service that loads whole app and settings profiles to your phone in a click.
Wide keyboard
The slide-out QWERTY keyboard accompanies a 3.5-inch touch screen. The spacious board is perhaps even a bit wide for small hands, but the buttons feel nice under the fingertips.
Close-up
We're always fans of a ".com" shortcut button. Otherwise, the keyboard is pretty standard.
Soft touches
The soft-touch finish makes the Transform comfortable in the hand. Look closely and you can see it also subtly shimmers.
Camera x2
The rear-facing camera is midrange at 3.2 megapixels. It isn't the highest we've seen for Android, but it takes decent photos for a cell phone. The accompanying flash helps, especially in camcorder mode. The front sports a VGA camera, which makes video chatting an option.
