Motorola Flipout
The Motorola Flipout has a unique swivel form factor that is similar to the Nokia 7705 Twist. The keyboard is quite small, but the keys are raised with a bubblelike texture, so we can see it as a quick messaging device.
Small and square
The Motorola Flipout has a 2.8-inch QVGA TFT touch screen display and ships with Android 2.1. It also has the enhanced MotoBlur interface that allows further customization of widgets and improved messaging features. The display is nice and bright to our eyes, but we did find it almost too small during our brief hands-on.
Back
The Motorola Flipout has interchangeable battery covers. The one you see here is fairway green, but you can mix it up with dark sapphire, saffron, poppy red, raspberry crush, brilliant blue, rebel pink, and black licorice. Also on the back is the 3-megapixel fixed-focus camera with digital zoom. You can geotag photos and touch them with Kodak's Perfect Touch technology.
Compact
The Motorola Flipout is probably the smallest Android phone we've ever seen. It measures 2.63 inches long by 2.63 inches wide by 0.67 inch thick.
