While known mostly for its appliances, Haier unveiled another addition to its smartwatch lineup here in Barcelona at MWC 2016. Named the Haier Watch, the device has a 1.4-inch touchscreen and runs on Android-based software.
Premium design
The watch has three design options: gold, silver and black. Its circular touchscreen is secured in a steel case.
Bit of water protection
The wearable is rated level IP56, so it's water resistant to a certain degree. That means it won't get totally ruined when you wash your hands with it on your wrist.
Pick your style
The display has a 400x400-pixel resolution and features a handful of different watchface styles.
Make a call
You can also make calls on it using the mic and the speaker.

Android, not Android Wear
The watch doesn't run Android Wear, but we were told its operating system is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Checking the weather
It includes a number of apps, such as a weather app.
Monitoring your health
The device is also a health tracker, and features sensors on its back for biometric readings.
Checking that heartbeat
The Haier Watch can measure your heartbeat.
How much did you burn today?
It can also keep track of your steps and the number of calories you've burned.
Taking a look around
You can also view your phone's camera with your watch. The wearable connects to your handset via Bluetooth 4.0.
