Simple group chat

GroupMe is a simple group chatting application that organizes your social circle into groups, where you can send messages to each other.

You can have one group for your co-workers, another for your college buddies, and maybe one for the people you get together with every Sunday to play softball.

The main screen of the app shows all of your groups. You can tap on any of them to open their chat thread.

Conversations

This is the conversation view, which contains all of the messages, photos and videos you and your friends have sent in that group. The conversation doesn't delete old messages automatically; you'll need to do it manually if you want to clear out the thread.

You can share photos and video from your own phone, but the real fun begins when you use GroupMe's media search to find images, video, and GIFs from the Internet. Above is the GIF search.

Create a memorable meme

If GIFs aren't enough fun for you, try turning an image into a meme before you share it by adding text to the top and bottom.

Find your friends

GroupMe can search your address book to find friends already using the app. Find the person you want to chat with to start a one-on-one conversation, or add him or her to a new or existing group.
