This is GoTenna

Heading into the wilderness where there's no cell service? You need GoTenna. It creates a private wireless network you can use to send text messages and share your location with friends.

Antennas and radios

GoTenna uses special radios to send messages between the two devices. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth.

Two-pack

GoTenna is sold in a two-pack, because you need one device per phone to communicate. GoTenna cannot connect to a regular wireless network, so you cannot use it to make calls or go online.

Colorful strap

There's a strap on the back of each device that secures it to any bag or backpack. The strap comes in four colors: purple, orange, blue and green.

Clip it

GoTenna recommends you strap the device to a bag, since it works better hands-free.

Portable

GoTenna is no larger than a granola bar and is dead-simple to use. Just slide out the antenna to turn it on.
