Pixel 2 XL

The larger Pixel 2 XL has thinner bezels and a smaller forehead and chin than last year's Pixel XL. Its svelte design pairs well with creme brulee and a cold brew coffee.

Pixel 2 vs. 2 XL

An easy way to tell the Pixel 2 and 2 XL apart are the corners of the display. The 2 XL has rounded corners that mirror the corners of the actual phone.

Pixel 2 vs. 2 XL

Another difference between the two new phones is the placement of the rear camera and flash. On the Pixel 2 XL, the camera is on the left and the flash is on the right.

To many people's dismay, both phones lack a headphone jack. On the bottom of the phone is a lonely USB-C port used for charging and plugging in headphones via a supplied dongle.

Pixel 2 camera

Video gets less shaky because the Pixel 2 uses both electronic stabilization (EIS) and optical stabilization (OIS) to prevent excessive shake. After recording the video, the phone also scans your video comparing each frame to compensate for any intentional movements like a pan or a tilt.
