Google+ is still smoking hot (pictures)

With its newest update, Google+ for Android maintains its status as perhaps the sexiest social-networking app out there.

Slide-out navigation

The sliding navigation panel on the left side of the screen houses all of your tools, and makes for a clean interface.

Side-scrolling feed

Visually, Google+'s home feed puts Facebook's timeline to shame. Plus, if you flip your device into landscape mode, you'll be able to swipe through feeds horizontally. It's a brilliant, simple detail that I hope to see incorporated in other apps as well.

Profile

From the mobile app, you can check out and edit your recent posts. You can also see your profile details, but can't edit them.

Instant Upload

One of the best things about Google+ is Instant Upload, a feature that automatically uploads photos to a private album on your account as soon you take them on your Android device.

Browse through all of your albums, and click through to see your photos in a grid display. Here, you can also see the private Instant Upload album.

Messenger

If many of your friends use Google+, then the Messenger feature can be a lot more convenient than sending mass text messages.
