The Google Ion is truly an eye-catching device. We love its sleek profile, glossy skin, and brilliant touch-screen.
The Ion has the same customizable and intuitive user interface as the T-Mobile G1.
The Ion's volume rocker rests on its right spine. It's thinner than we'd like, but you can find it easily when you're on a call.
We like the Ion's physical navigation controls. There are plenty of them and they have a comfortable feel.
We maintain that HTC needs to ditch the nonstandard headset jack.
The Ion's menu interface is simple, attractive, and easy to use.
In vertical mode the Ion's keybaord is cramped. Unfortunately, it doesn't switch to landscape mode when using the onscreen Google search.
The Google Ion travels well. It fits easily into a pocket or bag.
The Ion's camera is not equipped with a flash or self-portrait mirror.
