Google has decided to separate its office productivity services into stand-alone apps, making them easier to navigate, and removing he confusion from Google Drive.
Document list
Just like Google Drive, you can view your files in a list.
Collaboration
You can invite others to join you in a document and changes will be reflected in real time. You also can touch a button to see who is currently viewing the document.
Document list thumbnails
You also have the option to switch to document thumbnails using a button at the top.
Narrowing the search
If your Google Drive is filled with documents, you can open the sidebar to sort files so they're easier to find.
