Disney is bringing "Star Wars" to its newest Disney Infinity video game, which features real-life toys that get activated in the video game. Here's a closer look at the new toys you'll be spending cash on.
The third version game will be released at the end of August for $65, £50 and AU$100 respectively and will come with two starter toy figures featuring Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano.
There will be two Play Sets, one based on the original trilogy and one on the prequels. There will also be multiplayer in the form of a kart-racing game and an action adventure campaign that lets you play with older Disney Infinity characters as well.
Master Yoda takes the cake as the best figurine on display, though your taste may differ.
Here we have the pairing of Leia and Han Solo in fighting poses.
Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker will be included as part of the Starter Kit. The other figurines are sold separately.
If playing as Anakin Skywalker isn't really your thing, how about playing as future him?
The figurines aren't big -- they fit comfortably in the palm of my hand -- but they have amazing detail.
Here's Han and his good buddy Chewie, and no, they aren't home just yet.
Besides characters from the prequels and the original trilogy, you'll also be able to collect figures from the "Star Wars Rebels" animation.
Luke Skywalker here is definitely not a stormtrooper.
There can only be one Kenobi, and here he is.
Besides "Star Wars" figurines, Disney also showed off new Marvel-based characters, including the Hulkbuster and Ultron, who's doing his best Shakespearean pose.
Lastly, characters from Disney's latest Pixar movie, "Inside Out," will also be playable and will feature their own platformer game inside of Disney Infinity 3.0.
