Get cozy with LG's fun-sized French door fridge (pictures)
The LG LFC22770ST fits quality performance and French door style into a 30-inch wide package.
LG brought its French door game to a space conscious model on the LFC22770ST. With a 30-inch width, this $1,800 fridge manages to fit in plenty of features and accurate temperature performance.
The LG LFC22770ST divides 21.8 total cubic feet into 14.5 in the fridge and 7.3 in the freezer. The bright LEDs and white surface make the inside of the fridge feel welcoming.
The plastic edges of the shelves provide protection against spills, and worked well when we put them to the test with an 8 ounce glass of water.
The bins on the doors fit plenty of condiments and can move up and down depending on your space needs.
Beneath the shelves, you have two drawers for veggies and fruit.
Use the humidity sliders to control the airflow into each drawer.
Beneath the normal drawers, LG included an extra full-width deli drawer called the Glide N' Serve.
Rounding out the storage features of the fridge, you'll find a butter bin at the top of the right door.
You can also adjust the shelves using the different hook slots in the back.
The fan blows out frosty air to keep everything nice and cool.
You can customize the temp of both the fridge and the freezer using the simple control panel at the top.
A mullion between the doors helps create a seal when you shut the fridge.
The result -- accurate temps at the default setting throughout the main compartment.
The freezer also showed nice accuracy, and keeps things simple with only a few helpful dividers.
It does include a decently sized ice bin and the automatic machine produces cubes at a rate of 3 pounds per day.
I do wish the fridge had a little more room for tall items.
Still, the LG LFC22770ST makes for a solid option if you're looking for a low-end French door model to fit into a smaller space.
