For a water-resistant phone, the ZTE Reef for Virgin Mobile doesn't look much different from any standard Android device. Rectangle? Check. Plastic? Check. Black? Check.
Seriously, it doesn't feel like a water-resistant phone either. It weighs just 4.59 ounces.
Of course, that's all because the Reef is designed to repel only water and not other extreme conditions like dust or high and low temperatures.
Even the 3.5mm headset jack up top lacks a cover. But the Reef survived a dunking without any problems.
On the back are the camera lens, flash, and a small speaker.
The Micro-USB port does have a protective cover. It sits on the phone's left side below the volume controls.
The camera shutter is on the Reef's right spine.
The Reef's camera has a 5-megapixel resolution.
