Evernote's iOS app is simple and pretty (pictures)

The popular note-taking system has revamped its iOS app with a clean design.

Evernote for iOS

Evernote's undergone a bit of makeover in 2014 and the company's iOS app reflects that. It has a clean design and plenty of new features.

Bright design

In recent years, Evernote has revamped it's app design to be clean, simple and fresh. Here, you see the default green theme, but you can change it to a black or white theme.

Browse notes

The iOS version makes it really easy to browse any existing notes you've created on the Evernote desktop apps or its website.

Formatting and photos

Creating new notes in the app is easy too, just create a new blank note, add text, photos, and adjust the formatting. You can even edit or annotate photos in the app.

Context

Context is a new feature which shows relevant news articles below your saved notes. It's only available for premium subscribers, but those with free accounts will see related notes in that space.

Work Chat

Another recently added feature is Work Chat, which lets you chat with others in Evernote. It's best for coworkers who want to chat about projects and share Evernote notes.

Presentation Mode

Finally, Presentation mode lets you create simple slideshow-like presentations without creating individual slides. It's designed for the desktop, but you can use it on mobile too.
