The Legend of Zelda

The last entirely new Zelda game for consoles came out in 2011 for the Nintendo Wii, so we're very excited to see what the storied franchise brings to the table for its first full release on the Wii U.

Mass Effect: Andromeda

The Mass Effect trilogy is as epic as sci-fi gaming gets. Combine that with Western influences in a game set on the galactic frontier, and you've got our interest.

Hideo Kojima's new game

After splitting from Konami in December of last year, enfant terrible Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear fame is reported to be working on a game for PlayStation 4 and PC, although what form that game might take is tantalizingly unknown.

Dishonored 2

In the original Dishonored, steam-powered science and magic collided in a world that had Victorian military fetishists licking their lips. The sequel is set to bring in more powers and a second playable character.

The Last Guardian

The Last Guardian made quite a splash at last year's E3, and it was obvious why. We'd just seen a game come back from the dead. The follow-up to Fumito Ueda's Ico and Shadow of the Colossus tells the story of a young boy and Trico, the giant creature he befriends.

No Man's Sky

Discover (literally) trillions of planets. Explore space. Give newly discovered species rude names. Even with its release recently delayed, we're no less hungry for details about No Man's Sky.

Yooka-Laylee

It's a new action-adventure platformer from the team that made one of the Nintendo 64's best games, Banjo-Kazooie.
We really shouldn't need to explain anything else.

Civilization VI

Civilization games may have a worse adoption rate than new versions of Windows, but that doesn't stop the excitement for the new version of Sid Meier's 4X strategy masterpiece.

Horizon Zero Dawn

First announced to uproarious acclaim at E3 2015, Horizon Zero Dawn tells the story of the world 1,000 years after the fall of humanity, where strange robotic creatures have taken over.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

The sequel to 2011 stealth shooter Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Mankind Divided sees the return of gravel-voiced, sunglassed cyborg Adam Jensen.

Batman

The team behind The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us are gearing up for a new point-and-click comic book adaptation. And it's about Batman. Win-win.

Ken Levine's new game

Ken Levine's Irrational Games studio was shut down in 2014, with a team of around 15 being kept. Over the past two years Levine, the man behind BioShock, has made small comments here and there about the team's next project -- hopefully he's finally got something to wow us with at E3.

Watch Dogs 2

Ubisoft's first open-world hackathon adventure game was met with mixed reviews, but we'd like to remind people about the massive jump in quality between the first two games in another Ubisoft franchise: Assassin's Creed.

Kingdom Hearts III

Kingdom Hearts III is the climax to the tale of Kingdom Hearts, which has thus far spanned eight games. It was revealed back at E3 2013 -- and we haven't seen much of it since.

VR

We've already been enthralled by a lot of the experiences PlayStation VR has on offer, and given the booming virtual reality trend, we're eager to see both Sony's next steps and how Microsoft might be playing catch up.

Cyberpunk 2077

In masterful understatement, the game's website bills this largely unknown entity as "an upcoming RPG from the creators of The Witcher series." Given the praise heaped on Witcher 3 last year, CD Projekt Red's sci-fi follow-up is one to watch.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

2014's South Park: The Stick of Truth did what many thought was impossible: It made a good game out of a popular TV show. We're keen to see if Ubisoft can recapture lightning in a bottle.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

The remake to Final Fantasy VII was announced at last year's show after overwhelming fan demand. We've seen a lot of Final Fantasy XV recently, so hopefully Square Enix gives some E3 love to this, its other decade-in-the-making title.

New consoles?

Rumors of an interactive upgrade to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have been flying thick and fast for the past couple of months, and Nintendo's NX is almost a complete mystery.

Bethesda

Last year, the famed RPG developer surprised everyone with a Fallout 4 bombshell. This year, with rumors of a remastered Skyrim, could we also see a new Elder Scrolls?

Surprises!

We may have had early whispers for E3 2015, but the best announcements to come from the show were the ones no one could predict. We can't wait for the things that truly take us by surprise this year.
