D-Link's AC1750 router is surprisingly good if you're on a budget

If you have a need for speed on a budget, this dual-band AC1750 router offers theoretical speeds of 450Mbps on 2.4GHz and 1,300Mbps on 5GHz --- all for under $100.

My only concern with this router is that is doesn't feel very durable, but you'll probably be OK as long as you don't play frisbee with it.

It has the standard one gigabit WAN port and four gigabit LAN ports for all your wired devices.

Setting up the D-Link Wi-Fi app is easy. But if you really want to dive into changing your settings, the web interface (http://dlinkrouter.local) has everything you need.  

D-Link included some high-end options in this budget router, including MU-MIMO, beamforming, VPN support, quality of service (Qos) for prioritizing devices and band steering.

The DIR-867 doesn't have USB ports for printers and network storage. So if you really need them, you might want to check out the upgraded D-Link DIR-882.

The DIR-867 showed impressive throughput speed of over 800Mbps on 5GHz, but keep in mind that the internet speed you're paying for from your ISP will cap your bandwidth below that number, unless you have a fiber connection.
