13.3-inch screen, now with more touch!
One of the main upgrades to the fall 2013 version of the Dell XPS 13 is the addition of touch-screen capabilities, adding some handy functionality to the Windows 8.1 ultrabook.
Thin but sturdy
Despite its thin build, the XPS 13 is still a sturdy device -- each top cover is cut from a single block of aluminum.
1,920x1,200-pixel-resolution screen
In comparison with the 15-inch Dell XPS laptop, the 1,920x1,200-pixel resolution is low, mostly because the former boasts a whopping 3,200x1,800 resolution, but the Dell XPS 13's screen still impresses with its thin bezels and 178-degree viewing angles.
Sleek black and silver design
The black and silver ultrabook weighs a little under 3 pounds and looks sleek with its carbon and aluminum reinforced body.
Powered by Intel
The Dell XPS 13 still manages to house a fourth-generation Intel processor -- up to Core i7 -- inside its thin build.
