At CES, Dell forcibly inserted two fingers into Google's Android pie, unveiling not just the Mini 3 smart phone but also a 5-inch tablet by the name of the Mini 5.
Dell's keeping its cards close to its chest as far as the specs of the concept Mini 5 are concerned, but, thanks to the plucky fellows at Gizmodo and Pocket-lint, some details have emerged. Besides its multi-touch display and Dell-skinned Android 1.6 operating system, it packs a 5-megapixel camera on the back, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a SIM-card slot for 3G.
Dell hasn't announced in which countries the Mini 5 will be making an appearance, if indeed it ever makes it past the concept stage. The likely price is also a mystery at present.
Let us know in the comments section below whether you think this super-sized fiend can get one over on other Android devices, such as the HTC Hero, Archos 5 Internet Tablet or our personal favourite, the NIMble microwave. Perhaps you think the slightly more sensibly sized (but still humungous) 3.7-inch Lenovo LePhone has the upper hand?
