Dell debuts Streak 7 tablet, new laptops (photos)

At its CES press conference, Dell showed off products including a new Android tablet, a smartphone, and a speedy gaming laptop.

Dell Streak 7

At Dell's CES 2011 press conference, the Dell Streak 7 took center stage. The 7-inch Android tablet is powered by a dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra T2 processor and has support for T-Mobile's 4G network. It runs Android 2.2 (upgradable to Honeycomb) and has a 5-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling.

Stage interface

Dell also touted its Stage interface, which lets users access content without having to open applications.

The Dell Streak 7 is the follow-up to the Streak released last year. It offers the full Dell Stage interface with Stage widgets.

The Dell Venue runs Android 2.2; has full Flash 10.1 implementation; sports a 4.1-inch AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass, and has an 8-megapixel camera. The phone will be sold unlocked on Dell.com, though Dell thinks a T-Mobile version will be available as well.
