Dark Sky keeps the interface simple and elegant (pictures)

The weather forecast might be ugly, but this app can make it look good.

Current conditions

The main screen of the app displays the current weather conditions, including any weather warnings. A chart of expected precipitation over the next hour is also shown.

Extra conditions

Tapping on the main screen reveals extra conditions and information. Some users will find this informaiton of no use, but it can be very valuable for others.

Next 24 hours

Swiping from right to left on the main screen reveals the forecast for the next 24 hours. The forecast is plotted using precipitation and overall temperature.

Radar

Swiping from left to right on the main screen reveals a radar view. You can zoom in on your current location just as you would using Maps.

Week forecast

The weekly forecast screen displays upcoming days, with high and low temperatures. Tapping on the black temperature bar also reveals a chart of expected precipitation on the respective day.

Alerts

You can enable alerts of incoming storms. Alerts can be triggered by any amount of precipitation, or only the heaviest of precipitation.
