Cobra iRadar

The Cobra iRadar app gains compatibility with the Android operating system. This free app is available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

iRadar hardware

If you want to get serious about speed trap avoidance, the iRadar hardware can be interfaced with the app to add radar detection to the mix.

Dashboard (city mode)

The main point of interaction is the Dashboard screen, which displays your current heading and speed (both calculated using your phone's GPS antenna and compass).

Dashboard (highway mode)

When paired with the iRadar device, the iRadar app can be toggled between city and highway modes with different notification settings for each.

Detection

The app pulls speed camera, red light camera, speed trap, and road hazard warnings from the Internet and notifies as you approach. With the iRadar device, detected radar warnings are also displayed, complete with the band identifier and signal strength.

Reporting screen

If you spot a speed trap or road warning, you can instantly report it to other iRadar users in two taps on this Reporting Screen.

Map screen

The map screen features traffic overlays and your current live position.

Store

From the iRadar's store screen, users can order an iRadar device, if they don't already have one.

Settings screen

From the various settings screens, users can customize the type of alerts they receive and how those alerts are delivered. When paired with the iRadar hardware, radar band notifications can be customized for the city and highway modes.

Finally, the info screen displays information about the version of the iRadar software and, if present, the paired iRadar hardware.
