The Asus Zenbook UX305 is the latest ultrabook from Asus, packing the latest Intel M Series processors and an ultra high-definition display into a skinny, aluminium body.
There's no word on pricing or availability yet, but you can bet it won't be cheap when it goes on sale early next year.
The whole body is made from aluminium.
At only 12.3mm thick at its fattest point, it's an extremely svelte piece of kit.
The 13.3-inch display has a 3,200x1,800-pixel resolution which should make even tiny details pin sharp.
It'll be available in both touch and non-touch versions. I recommend going for the touchscreen if you want to have an easier time swiping around the Windows 8 interface.
The usual lineup of ports are squashed into those skinny edges.
The wide keys seemed comfortable to type on.
And there's a sizeable trackpad if you don't want to swipe at the screen.
Audio is provided by high-end speaker specialists Bang & Olufsen.
You won't struggle to get it into a bag.
