iPod Touch (2015)
The latest version of the iPod Touch is a great portable media player, but it's outclassed by most smartphones. If you're looking for a fitness companion, you'll do well here.
The star of the show is arguably the 8-megapixel camera. It's almost on par with the iPhone 6, which is grand praise for what's ostendibly just an MP3 player.
The volume controls sit on the left side. The iPod Touch remains deliriously thin, and there isn't all that much to the device.
The iPod Touch still charges by way of the lighting cable jack on the bottom. You'll want to stick to headphones -- the single speaker isn't up to snuff.
