Before the Gates keynote, this stilt walker entertained the crowd.
It's a bit of Ren faire at CES: This wandering minstrel played to attendees at the Gates keynote. Apparently he took requests for classic-rock tunes.
Bill Gates made many announcements in his keynote, introducing attractive PCs for the living room, new content partners for those Media Centers, home servers, Windows Vista Ultimate, software that turns Xbox 360 into a set-top box for IPTV, and Microsoft's partnership with Ford on Sync in-car communication and entertainment.

On Monday, CEO Robert Iger took the stage to tout Disney's new offerings, including the new Disney.com site. He also discussed the challenges of offering online content, particularly the problems with piracy.
Iger showed a scene from Pixar's upcoming animated movie, Ratatouille, about a rat who wants to be a chef. It's in theaters June 29.
Lost stars Evangeline Lilly and Matthew Fox joined Iger onstage. The show is one of the most gadget-friendly, available on iTunes and on cell phones worldwide.
Disney's new site features Xtreme Digital, which looks like a desktop, with moveable widgets for watching video, chatting, surfing the Web, and gaming.
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer also joined Iger to preview the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie (the movie concept came from the Disney World theme park ride). Good news for Stones fans: Keith Richards will be in the movie, reportedly playing Captain Jack Sparrow's dad.
