Canon EOS M: Compact and occasionally sparkly (pictures)

Shown here with the 18-55mm lens.

Equipped with a pancake lens, like the 22mm STM lens shown here, it's about the same size as an enthusiast compact.

The controls look very point-and-shoot-like. Plus, that red's a lot more sparkly than I thought.

It's a bit odd to have the stereo mic all the way over on the left rather than in the center, though.

The lack of a mode dial is going to annoy the same people who who'd pay $750 for the camera.
