Many of the changes are on the inside, where they belong.
The M6 has the fewest changes inside because it's based on the M5, but since Canon made the viewfinder optional, it has the most redesigned body.
Although it's got a new name, the 77D body is identical to that of the older Rebel T6s.
The T7i has the same body as the T6i, but received some much-needed updates on the inside.
The EVF, which basically has the same specs as the built-in viewfinder on the M5, plugs into the camera's hotshoe.
This is where you'll see most of the differences between the M5 and M6.
Canon finally implements a visual interface for simulating what different settings will produce.
Note: This may not accurately reflect the final screen.
That wireless button and the redesigned lock lever are two of the minor differences between the 77D and T6s bodies.
