BMW M760i's looks don't account for its sheer presence

BMW gave its 7-Series sedan a major update for the 2016 model year, with a whole new body incorporating carbon fiber structural elements and innovative new technologies. For the 2017 model year, BMW came out with the top-of-the-line M760i, a version using a V12 engine.

Rather than being an M7, similar to a BMW M5 or M6, the M760i falls under BMW's M Sport Edition trim line. That means elevated performance and M aesthetic cues, but not quite true M-level performance.

The M760i is BMW's largest sedan, working as a personal driver or a chauffeur-driven vehicle.

As the top-of-the-line, the M760i comes with many of BMW's technologies as standard, such as all-wheel-drive and an adaptive suspension.

Its design elements may not be ostentatious, but the M760i exudes a certain presence that makes it unmistakable.

Adaptive LED headlights come standard. Large lower air intakes are part of the M Sport Edition look.

The engine in the M760i is a 6.6-liter V12 with two turbochargers and direct injection, managing 601 horsepower.

The M760i's adaptive suspension uses a camera to analyze the road ahead and make appropriate adjustments to ensure a smooth ride.

Rear-wheel-steering actually turns the rear wheels a few degrees to aid in handling.

With a base price of $153,800, the M760i is aimed at a wealthy class of buyer.
