Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS

The Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS was well priced for its size and features when it came out early in 2010. It's going to be around this holiday season for $100 less than its MSRP, making the deal even sweeter.

Canon PowerShot A3100 IS

Several stores are offering the $179.99 Canon PowerShot A3100 IS for $99.99. It's probably the best photo quality you'll get for that price.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H55

Dell's Web site will be offering a "door buster" bundle of the H55, a 14-megapixel compact megazoom. For $189.99 you'll get the camera, a case, and a 4GB Sony SDHC memory card. Not bad considering the original price of the H55 was $250.

Canon PowerShot SX130 IS

The SX130 IS just came out a couple months ago at a price of $250. Black Friday deals have it priced at $179.99, which is excellent for this 12-megapixel compact with a 12x zoom lens and lots of shooting options.

Nikon Coolpix L110

Though its photos and performance weren't spectacular, the Coolpix L110 was probably the best budget megazoom I tested in 2010. Retailers will have it at $199.99 for the holidays, which makes it an extremely good value.

Kodak EasyShare M580

Sam's Club members will have access to a $99 Kodak EasyShare M580 bundle. It's a nice compact 8x zoom camera with a wide-angle lens and HD movie capture. The bundle gets you a camera case, but the even without that it's a very good deal.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH22

I haven't seen any advertised Black Friday deals for Panasonic cameras, but this week Best Buy has the FH22 on sale for $139.99. It is basically the same as the FH20 I reviewed, but instead of a 2.7-inch regular LCD it has 3-inch touch screen. I considered the FH20 an excellent deal at $150, so the FH22 is even better as long as you like touch screens.

Nikon Coolpix S6000

The S6000 sports a lot of features including a wide-angle 7x zoom lens and was fairly priced at $250. However, its photo quality wasn't great for its class. OfficeMax will have it for $169.99, which makes its photos easier to forgive.

Kodak Playsport

If you want a slightly rugged, waterproof minicamcorder that does full HD, well, the Playsport is the way to go. Amazon's offering a nice $139 bundle for it too, with an IR remote for controlling it while it's connected to your TV as well as a minitripod and 4GB SDHC card.

Canon Rebel XS

The Canon Rebel XS is one of the few SLR deals we found. It's an older entry-level model, so if you know someone looking to trade up to a full-size camera, this is a good starting point. Walmart has it as a door buster for $479 with a kit 18-55mm lens (basically a 3x zoom), a case, and 2GB SD card. The bonus is Wal-mart's offering a 55-250mm lens (roughly a 4.6x zoom range) for $149, a 75-300mm lens (4x zoom) for $99, and an $8 4GB SD card with the purchase of the XS.

It looks like Sears and Kmart have similar deals going, too.
