iPads discounted at Best Buy
Best Buy just knocked $100 to $150 off the iPad Mini 4, iPad Air and iPad Air 2. For our money, the 64GB iPad Air 2 at $475 becomes the pick of the litter.
Apple Watch: $100 off at Best Buy
Best Buy also has some stellar deals on the Apple Watch, with $100 off both the smaller 38mm and larger 42mm models, so you can get them with basic bands for just $250 and $300.
B&H also appears to be offering the watch, but for $50 off.

16GB iPhone 6 for $1 (on contract), $100 off iPhone 6S
Looking for more Apple bargains? Best Buy has this year's iPhone 6S and last year's iPhone 6 for $100 off when purchased on a two-year contract with Sprint. This brings the cost as low as $1 if you want the 16GB iPhone 6, but we would recommend at least springing for the $99 64GB version to have more space for photos, videos and apps. The deal also applies to the larger 6 Plus and 6S Plus editions.
Extra fun: trading in an iPhone 5 or newer will also get you a $200 gift card.
$200 to $300 off Macs and Macbooks
Best Buy has even more Apple discounts available, with hundreds off nearly every current Mac model. That includes the Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, iMac and the 12-inch Macbook.
iPad Mini 2: $70 off at Walmart
In other Apple deals news: Walmart is still selling the entry-level 16GB iPad Mini 2 at $199, an excellent deal that the retailer debuted on Nov. 1. Yes, the Mini 2 is a couple of years old, but it's got the same basic Retina screen as the Mini 4, which costs twice as much. It's still great for basic reading and Web browsing.
$100 of Surface 3, plus keyboard discount
For a limited time, get the Microsoft Surface 3 from the Microsoft Store for $100 off. And once you add it to your cart, you have the option to get a Type Cover (in your choice of four colors) for $79.99, a savings of $50. That gets you out the door for $478.99 (not including any applicable taxes).
Xbox One bundles for $299 and up -- and more discounts starting December 22
Microsoft had originally touted $50 discounts on all of its Xbox One bundles for Black Friday weekend. But now the company says that deal is extended straight through December 26. (Make sure you get a system with at least one bundled game, such as the Gears of War version shown here).
If that's not good enough, Microsoft has also a Countdown Sale for December 22 through January 7 with even more discounts.
Sonos Play:1 2-room bundle for $50 off
Our favorite multiroom wireless speaker system, the Sonos Play:1 is available for most of December in a two-pack for $350 -- that's $50 off the price you'd pay if purchasing them separately. Set them up in a stereo configuration in one room, or start your whole-home audio system with each one in a separate room.
40-inch TCL Roku TV $299 at Amazon
Yes, we really like Roku TVs by TCL and other makers, and this is a great price for an excellent bedroom-size TV. It's available at Amazon.
Sony Alpha A6000
Sony's A6000 interchangeable-lens compact camera takes some brilliant shots yet is small enough to happily carry around your neck on vacation. Best Buy is offering the camera with a 16-50mm power zoom lens and a 55-210mm zoom lens for just $700 -- a savings of $450 off the usual price.
GoPro Hero4 Session
Thanks to not one, but two recent price drops, the GoPro Hero4 Session is now available for $199 permanently. This new price is half the original $399 cost the action camera debuted at. This waterproof camera is not only a great price for the device, but is also an option for existing GoPro owners looking for a secondary camera for shooting at another angle.
Air Hogs Star Wars Remote Control Millennium Falcon
One of our favorite toy drones is available from Walmart for $88.84. It's normally priced around $120 and the next lowest price is about $110. If you're itching to reenact escaping the mouth of a space slug or attempt the Kessel Run, you should definitely grab one at this low price.
Garmin Vivofit 2 for $70
The Vivofit 2 has an always-on display, one year of battery life, and can be worn in the shower and the pool. The new model adds a stopwatch mode, a backlight, audible alerts, inactivity alerts and a greatly improved wrist band. At nearly half off, it's worth a look. (Note this is the model without the chest-strap heart rate monitor.)
VPI Nomad
If you're looking to get into the vinyl craze but don't know where to begin, the VPI Nomad is a good start. At $699 at Music Direct (reduced from $999) it offers everything you need to listen to records. Just add a pair of good headphones.
$20 Google Play credit with Chromecast purchase
At just $35 for video and audio versions, the updated-for-2015 Google Chromecast is one of the best streaming deals out there. Best Buy is already knocking $5 off the purchase price, and Google is offering a $20 credit for its Google Play app and media store with the purchase of either puck.
