After opening only at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving, November 24, Walmart stores will be open all day on Black Friday. Be aware, though, that some of the deals are in-store exclusives.
A few years after the introduction of 4K its ubiquity among TV models is almost complete. The Samsung UN60KU6270 (originally $1099) is a 60-inch LCD which offers a 4K resolution and smart TV. It's available on Black Friday for $648.
Sony PlayStation 4 Slim 500GB Uncharted 4 Edition
While the "Slim" PS4 debuted in September at $299 Walmart has the console for $250 and throw in a copy of the latest/last Nathan Drake adventure Uncharted 4. It's available in store only from 6 p.m.
Roku makes an ever enlarging range of streaming video players, but almost all of them are only of use to you if you have a recent television. If you have an old CRT though, you need the Roku Express+ with its analog connections. It offers streaming from Netflix, Amazon Video and more and even offers a smartphone app with private listening. It's on sale at Walmart for 10 bucks off at $29.
If you haven't already invested in a Chromecast then a price of $25 is almost too good to pass up. It will let you stream videos and TV shows from your phone directly to your TV. Get the Chromecast from Walmart here.
Fitbit is pretty much shorthand for "fitness tracker" these days and the Fitbit Charge 2 is the best one yet. It's reduced from $149 to $129. Meanwhile the Fitbit Alta is $99 (save $30) and the Fitbit Flex 2 is $69 (save $30).
The DJI Phantom 3 quadcopter-style drone is last year's model, but it still boasts 2.7K resolution video and almost 30 minutes of flight time. It's available on Black Friday for $369 or about $130 off.
The Netgear R6400 uses the same Nighthawk design of the company's high-end routers but at a much more affordable price. It's a dual-band AC router with USB sharing capabilities and decent wireless range. It's reduced from $129 to $89 for Walmart's sale.
