Best Black Friday deals at Walmart 2016

After opening only at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving, November 24, Walmart stores will be open all day on Black Friday. Be aware, though, that some of the deals are in-store exclusives.

A few years after the introduction of 4K its ubiquity among TV models is almost complete. The Samsung UN60KU6270 (originally $1099) is a 60-inch LCD which offers a 4K resolution and smart TV. It's available on Black Friday for $648.

While the "Slim" PS4 debuted in September at $299 Walmart has the console for $250 and throw in a copy of the latest/last Nathan Drake adventure Uncharted 4. It's available in store only from 6 p.m.

The cheapest Apple iPad gets even cheaper with a $70 discount at Walmart this Black Friday. For $199 you get a 32GB capacity, a 7.9-inch Retina display and the A7 processor.

Roku makes an ever enlarging range of streaming video players, but almost all of them are only of use to you if you have a recent television. If you have an old CRT though, you need the Roku Express+ with its analog connections. It offers streaming from Netflix, Amazon Video and more and even offers a smartphone app with private listening. It's on sale at Walmart for 10 bucks off at $29.

Picking up where netbooks left off, Chromebooks feature Google's Chrome OS in a slim, affordable package.

The Samsung Chromebook 3 includes an Intel Celeron N3050 processor, 4GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, and an 11.6-inch LCD. It usually retails for $179 but Walmart has it for $119.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 may lack a couple of features compared to the S7 or iPhone 7 but it's still a solid phone. It's available on Black Friday off-contract for $249.
