Black Friday is a great day to score huge deals in games and gaming gear. Here are the best offers to keep an eye out for.
This season is a great time to buy a new-generation console. Be sure to click through our picks for the best deals to grab this Black Friday and score a free game or two with a brand new console.
Nintendo announced new transparent versions of the 2DS now available that sell for just $100 (a $29 reduction). You'll find them -- and the original red and blue models -- at Walmart and elsewhere for the same price.
The $129 2DS is still a decent deal if it includes a game with it.
Available at most retailers, Sony is selling the PS4 with Grand Theft Auto V and The Last of Us Remastered for $400. In other words, you get $120 worth of games -- which are two of the PS4's best -- at no additional charge. Obviously, this bundle is for adult gamers only, but PS4 has a great family-friendly alternative, too. (See next slide)
PlayStation 4 + Grand Theft Auto V and The Last of Us: Remastered - $399.99 (GameStop, Best Buy)
PlayStation 4 + Grand Theft Auto V and The Last of Us: Remastered or Lego Batman 3 and LittleBigPlanet 3 -- $399.99 (Toys R Us)
PlayStation 4 + $50 Walmart gift card -- $399.99 (Walmart)
Prospective PS4 buyers can also get Lego Batman 3 and LittleBigPlanet 3 bundled for the same $400 price point. This one is great for kids.
This Best Buy mega Wii U bundle includes Super Smash Bros., Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Super Mario 3D World and Nintendoland for $410.
If that's a bit too much, note that most retailers offer Wii U bundles with at least two games for $300.
The Xbox One is now a far better deal than it was when it was first introduced a year ago. Get the One bundled with Assassin's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed IV in a Kinect ($450) or no-Kinect bundle ($350) at most retailers this year.
Xbox 360 is also available with Peggle 2 for $180.
The Microsoft Store is cutting the price on new and older Xbox One games like Sunset Overdrive ($40) and Forza Horizon 2 ($30) starting November 27.
