Basic ain't bad when it comes to this GE range

The $1,000 GE JB750SJSS electric range is a standard product with an impressive performance.

The chicken I cooked on the convection roast setting came out with a crispy skin and juicy meat.

The times on the chart show how long it took each burger to reach the proper temperature during the broil tests. The burgers on the right cooked the fastest, which shows that the broiler is hotter on that side.

The photos on the left show two racks of biscuits I baked with the convection fan in use. As you can see in the color representations on the right, the browning was mostly uniform with the top rack of biscuits being slightly browner (top photos).
