On Monday, Asus announced the Zenbook 3, its new answer to Apple's Macbook and Macbook Air ranges.
The range starts at $999, putting it in competition with the likes of the Dell XPS 13 and the Razer Blade Stealth.
The laptop's design is familiar for anyone who's used a Zenbook before.
The company claimed the Zenbook 3 is slimmer and lighter than Apple's incredibly slim and light 12-inch Macbook.
The Zenbook 3 is just 11.9mm thick and weighs 910g (2lb).
The top of the line model will retail for $1,999 (£1,370, AU$2,790) and will be powered by an Intel Core i7 processor, a whopping 1TB SSD and 16GB of RAM.
We got a look at the Rose Gold edition. It will also come in Royal Blue and Quartz Grey.
Asus says the laptop has twice the key travel of Apple's 12-inch MacBook.
The Zenbook 3's trackpad will feature a fingerprint sensor for touch log in.
