Older, but not wiser
The Apple iPad Mini 2 is an old model, but it's managed to stick around.
If you're interested in an iPad, but are strapped on cash, the Mini 2 is your best bet.
Same aluminum design
From the back, the iPad Mini 2 could pass for the Mini 4.
Same resolution
Though it has the same screen resolution as the iPad Mini 4, the Mini 2 doesn't have as wide of a color range.
Thicker design
It's also thicker than the newer iPad.
iOS 10 ready
When iOS 10 rolls out later this year, the iPad Mini 2 will support it.
No TouchID
It doesn't have the fingerprint scanner that newer iPads have.
No complaints here
While using the iPad Mini 2, despite its lack of high-end features, it still satisfied for casual web browsing, video streaming and gaming.
Lightning charger
It uses the same charger as the iPhone 6.
Two cameras
It has a rear and front-facing camera. Neither are very impressive.
