Apple has upgraded the chips in its all-in-one iMacs -- here's the full deets.
The top end 24-inch model comes with up to 8GB of RAM, up to 1TB of hard disk space and up to 3GHz of speed from an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, although that will set you back a whopping £2,599. Graphics are provided by Nvidia GeForce 9400M, GT 120, GT 130 or top-end ATI Radeon HD 4850 chipsets.
An entry-level 20-inch version can be configured with the same specifications as the 24-inch version, but only offers a 2.66GHz Intel Core Duo CPU and just the integrated Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics chip.
Prices for the 20-inch model start at £949, while the 24-inch starts at £1,199. Both are available from the Apple Store as of today.
The 24-inch model beside the 20-inch, just in case you need visual confirmation that a 24-inch display is in fact larger than a 20-inch one.
The iMac almost completely side-on. Notice that shrunken new keyboard, sans-number pad.
And now the iMac completely side-on.
