Apple event preparations under way in SF (photos)

Outside the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, preparations are under way for Apple's Wednesday event, where the company is expected to launch a new tablet device.

Preparing for the arrival of the Apple tablet?

SAN FRANCISCO--On Monday, workers at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts hang signs in preparation for Apple's upcoming media event. The company is widely expected to unveil a tablet computer during the event, which is scheduled for Wednesday at 10 a.m. PST.
