An HD security camera for just $60

At $60, Tend Secure's Lynx Indoor is the least expensive security camera I've ever reviewed.

The Lynx is available in the UK; pricing converts to about £45.

It isn't sold in Australia (yet), but would be roughly AU$80 at the current exchange rate.

It's a small, unassuming camera that you can place on a table or mount to a wall with the included hardware.

The base isn't ideal for flat surface installations, though.

One side of the base is open, so the camera can shift unexpectedly.

Design quirks aside, it's a pretty neat little camera.

The Lynx offers 1080p HD live streaming, 7-day free event-based cloud storage -- and best of all -- facial recognition.

Add pictures of friends and family in the related Tend Secure Android or iOS app and it will alert you when it sees (or thinks it sees) that person.
