Alexa learned a bunch of new tricks at CES 2016

The Amazon Echo smart speaker was predictably popular at the Consumer Electronics Show here in Las Vegas this year, with products both big and small jumping onto Alexa's bandwagon. Click through for the running of list of all of the new integrations we've come across so far.

First up, Big Ass Fans, which kicked the week off with an entire new lineup of Haiku Home connected products, including the new, more affordable version of the Haiku smart ceiling fan. The company is also showing off new support for Amazon Echo, so you'll be able to control your smart climate system by talking to Alexa, the speaker's voice-controlled software assistant.

Then there's the smart home phone system Ooma. With Amazon Echo integration, you'll be able to make calls straight from the speaker -- no phone necessary.

Alarm.com is in the mix, too, offering new Amazon Echo-powered voice controls for its smart security subscribers.

Same goes for Nexia, a subscription-based smart home platform. With the Echo integration, you'll be able to control all of your Nexia-compatible smart home gadgets using voice commands.

Echo is also syncing up with TrackR, a Bluetooth beacon that clips to your keys or hides in your wallet. When you lose your stuff, TrackR helps you find it -- and now, you'll be able to ask Alexa where to look.

Ford announced Echo compatibility, too, as part of its effort to sync your car with your connected home. Alexa will be able to tell you how much of a charge your hybrid vehicle's battery is holding, or even start the car remotely on a cold morning.

Samsung initially told us that it planned on doing the same thing, and incorporating Alexa directly into its new flagship smart fridge, the Family Hub Refrigerator. However, the South Korean conglomerate has backpedaled a bit, and now tells us that the Alexa integration isn't a sure bet. We're keeping our fingers crossed.

Invoxia is a French startup with a product called Triby. It's a connected kitchen organization hub, and this year, it claims it'll be the first product to add in native Alexa support -- no Echo needed.

Vivint is another smart-home-as-a-service provider that's announcing compatibility with Amazon Echo for 2016.

Zonoff is a smart home platform developer that licenses its tech out to numerous partners. That makes it the brand behind the curtain, so to speak. At CES, the Zonoff team showed us a preview of its upcoming Amazon Echo integration, which they tell us would extend to each and every Zonoff partner that wants to take advantage of it. That would include names like Staples Connect, shown here.

One example of an Alexa integration stemming from Zonoff that's already surfaced at CES is Home Advisor, a Zonoff-powered app that helps connect you with repair technicians when your home needs work done. With Amazon Echo in the mix, Alexa will help you find the right service person for the job.
