Samsung's Galaxy Note II has new competition in the quad-core Alcatel Scribe HD.
A Galaxy Note challenger
LAS VEGAS--The new Alcatel Scribe HD has arrived and it squarely targets Samsung's Galaxy Note II, stylus and all.
A convenient cover
The Alcatel Scribe HD comes with its own handy flip-cover, just like the popular Galaxy Note line of products.
This back is magnetic
On back of the Alcatel Scribe HD is the phone's 8-megapixel camera and LED flash. Also here is the magnetically attached case hinge.
Volume and extra storage
The Alcatel Scribe HD's right side houses a volume rocker and microSD card slot to add extra storage.
Headphone jack and power up top
The top edge of the Alcatel Scribe HD holds the phone's power key and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The software inside
The Alcatel Scribe HD's 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor drives the phone's Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
