Programmable phones and goliath tablets among Alcatel's MWC offering (pictures)

We take a look through all of Alcatel's products at this year's MWC, including an enormous tablet and a sleek phone with a custom side button.

Alcatel has thrown the curtains back on a whole range of new Android and Windows devices at this year's Mobile World Congress. We've been up close and personal with the entire bunch to see what's what.

First on the list is the Plus 10. It's a 10-inch Windows tablet at heart, but it comes with a keyboard dock, which turns it into a laptop.

It runs full Windows 10, and it comes with a SIM card slot to use 4G LTE networks. Prices haven't been announced, but it's due to go on sale in July in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

The Pixi 3 is an 8-inch tablet running Windows 10. It was announced initially at CES back in January, but it's nice to see a familiar face.

The Idol 4S is Alcatel's flagship smartphone, with a super high resolution screen and a 16-megapixel camera.

On the side of the Idol 4 is a button that you can customise to open the camera, take photos or even open an app of your choice.

In the box with the Idol 4S is this VR viewer. Slot the phone inside and hold it up to your handsome face like Luke is doing and you'll be able to view VR and 360-degree video.

The Idol 4 is the Idol 4S's little brother. It has a smaller 5.2-inch screen and a 12-megapixel camera.

The baby of the bunch, the Pixi 4 has a 4-inch screen, and just about enough power for your everyday basic social networking.

And at the larger end of things is the Xess. This 17.3-inch goliath isn't designed to be carried onto the bus, but instead sit at home on your table playing media for the family, or acting as a handy cookbook in the kitchen.

It does have a neat handle if you do decide to take it anywhere though.
