Actiontec showed off its super-compact PWR511K01 500 Mbps HomePlug HD Powerline Wall Plug Network Adapter Kit at CES 2013.

LAS VEGAS--The kit consists of two identical adapters, one to be plugged in to the existing network, the other to be used at a far corner.
Each adapter is tiny, measuring just 2.2 by 1.25 by 3.4 inches and weighing just 6.4 ounces.
It comes with one gigabit Ethernet port to connect to a wired device.
It also includes a two-prong power connecter to plug into any wall socket.
The adapter doesn't have a pass-through power outlet, so make sure you have more than one wall socket at the far corner.
Like all power line adapters, the PWR511K01 works best if plugged directly into the wall and shouldn't be used with a power surge protector.
