Improved screen
I know. You can't tell from this shot, but the Acer Iconia W4's screen really is a huge improvement over the W3's. The tablet runs Windows 8.1 and will ship for $299.
That button
If there's one thing I don't like about the W4's design is its way-too-small Windows button. I could barely get my -- admittedly large -- fingertips in there.
Girth
It's not the thinnest tablet in the world, but it's also not uncomfortable to hold.
SD
The Iconia W4 features a microSD card slot, just in case you happen to run out of space.
Back camera
I didn't get a chance to test out the back camera during my brief time with the device.
Front
Nor the front camera. However, look for some in-depth testing when the tablet is released.
