Not content with launching the dual-touchscreen Iconia laptop-cum-tablet thingummy yesterday, Acer also unveiled a gargantuan, 4.8-inch Android smart phone, three conventional tablets, a media-sharing system, and a digital-content and app store. Lay off the coffee would you, Acer?

The unnamed smart phone, which will run Android 2.2 or above, has a massive, 4.8-inch touchscreen, giving it the same tablet-like quality as the 5-inch Dell Streak. It'll also sport an 8-megapixel camera with an LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. It packs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor too, as well as a gyroscope and accelerometer. No release date has been announced yet.

Along with the Iconia, Acer also fired three tablets from its technological blunderbuss. Two run on Android and one runs on Windows 7.

The 10.1-inch Android tablet has a capacitive touchscreen, and Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. It measures 13.3mm thick. It has a built-in HDMI port and can play 1080p high-definition video.

The 7-inch Android tablet is the same size as the Samsung Galaxy Tab and upcoming BlackBerry PlayBook. It sports a front-facing camera and offers DLNA support, which allows you to stream and share content with other compatible devices.

The Android tablets will be released in April next year, although it's unclear whether they'll run Android 2.2 or 2.3 Gingerbread. If you can't wait until then, you might like to consider Acer's 10.1-inch Windows 7 tablet, which is slated for release in February. It comes with a docking device that incorporates a physical keyboard.

As if that weren't enough, Acer also announced Alive, a digital-content and app store. Last but not least, it introduced a media-sharing system called Clear.fi, which will allow compatible devices to share digital content, such as games, movies, photos and music, wirelessly over a home network.
