Acer's surprise wearable, the Liquid Leap, showed up in New York for a quick glimpse, along with a new Liquid Jade phone.
Here's the Liquid Leap in pink. It feels like a lot of other fitness trackers, especially the Fitbit Force.
The Liquid Jade phone. This one has a jade-colored finish. It'll be available outside the U.S. by summer.
Back to the Liquid Leap. It can be touched to turn on the display. It appears to be mainly an activity tracker, with an LED screen.
Estimated calories burned: looks a lot like other fitness trackers.
A look at the band from the side. Clean, but a little generic.
Will the Liquid Leap have notification features? How much will it cost? Will it work with all Android phones? We don't know yet.
Stay tuned for future news.
Another look at the Liquid Jade from the front. This is a pre-production prototype.
The Liquid Leap and Liquid Jade were gone almost as quickly as they appeared. More soon, hopefully.
